Maarten De Ceulaer Newsletter February 2013 I am happy to announce that last month, I received the Henry Van De Velde Award for 'Young Talent 2012'. The Henry Van De Velde Awards are an initiative of Design Vlaanderen, the Flemish institute for design. The award ceremony took place 15 january 2013 at 'De Schelp' of the Flemish Parlement in Brussels, and the awards were handed out by the Flemish minister-president Kris Peeters and Flemish minister of Environment, Nature and Culture Joke Schauvliege. That same night the exhibition was inaugurated, which will stay open to the public until the 2nd of March 2013 at 'De Loketten' of the Flemish Parlement. If you happen to be near Brussels, I invite you to come and see a selection of my works, as well as the work of the two other laureates; Ever Meulen won the Lifetime Achievement for his incredible illustration works, and Indera was awarded for Best Company.
