Mechatronics is the combination of mechanics, electronics and (more recently)
computing to create programmable mechanical machines. In this workshop,
participants will be able to create their own machines, with the help of
FabLab.iMAL's various digital fabrication tools, Arduinos and the experience of
the workshop leaders.

Mechatronics est la combination de la mécanique, l'électronique et (plus
récemment) de l'informatique pour créer des machines mécaniques programmables.
Durant cet atelier, les participants pourront créer leurs propres machines, à
l'aide des divers outils du FabLab.iMAL (fabrication numérique), Arduinos et
l'expérience des formateurs.

Mechatronics is een combinatie van mechanica, elektronica en (meer hedendaagse)
informatica om programmeerbare mechanische machines te ontwerpen. Tijdens deze
workshop, zullen de deelnemers hun eigen machines kunnen creëren, met de hulp

ervaring van de workshopleiders.

Cette première version d'une série d'assemblages s'inscrit dans une recherche
autour de l'œuvre physique versionnée menée par Raphaël Bastide depuis 2012.
Révisable 1 insiste sur l'accessibilité de la modification d'un objet
versionné et sur la publication de son historique. L’œuvre questionne ainsi les
publics et acteurs, à la fois en ligne et hors ligne dans des processus
similaires au développement collaboratif de logiciels en leur proposant un champ
fini d'actions.

This first version of a series of assemblages is part of a research around
versioned physical artworks, led by Raphaël Bastide since 2012. Révisable
1 focuses on making modifications of a versioned object accessible, and on
the publication of its history. The artwork therefore questions both online and
offline audiences and players by offering them a finite set of actions in a
process similar to collaborative software development.
